Finished height
The taller the letter, the more loop yarn and the more rows of stitching it takes. A jacket-back letter and a cap-front letter are different price points for the same shape.
SAIM Label makes chenille varsity letters in Dongguan: MOQ 50 pcs per design, letters from $0.21/pc, production 10–12 days after proof, in block, collegiate or script.
Chenille letters are quoted per letter, not per patch. Three variables decide the number, and all three are set by your artwork rather than by us.

Each loop colour is a separate yarn run. One colour is the base case; every extra colour adds a setup and slows the loom down across the whole letter set.
The catalog runs from $0.21/pc. A 500-piece letter set typically prices lower per piece than a 100-piece run, and 1,000-piece programs step down again.
Letters are woven in loop pile on a felt base, so the felt acts as the outline colour around the yarn. Send the letter, the height and the colours you want.
Script lettering is possible but is priced as its own design rather than as a standard letter, because the connecting strokes are drawn as one continuous shape rather than as individual characters.
Taken from the ranges already published on the chenille patches page. Per-letter price moves with height, loop colours and quantity; the quote confirms the final number.

Loop pile is yarn, not thread. That single fact decides most of what a chenille letter can and cannot do, and it is the first thing worth knowing before you send artwork.
| Construction | Loop-pile chenille yarn on a felt base, in-house |
|---|---|
| Letter styles | Classic block, collegiate, script |
| Felt base | Acts as the outline colour around the pile |
| Loop colours | Yarn-based, so gradients must be split into solid colour zones |

| Backing | Sew-on, iron-on, adhesive or hook-and-loop |
| Typical use | Varsity jackets, letterman cardigans, hoodies, cap fronts |
50 pcs per design. A letter set is quoted letter by letter, so send the letters with their individual quantities and the whole set is priced together.

Not as a smooth fade. Loop colours are yarn-based, so a gradient has to be split into solid colour zones. Send the artwork and we will tell you how many zones it needs.
Sew-on, iron-on, adhesive or hook-and-loop. Iron-on needs a heat test on the final fabric before a full run.
Attach the letter shapes, the finished height of each and the quantities. We come back with the construction, the felt colour and tiered per-letter pricing.
